The Panamenian tempo

Our second day of internship had arrived and this time we also had to take the bus in the morning to Gamboa, but we missed it... Which was horrible because then we waited for the next one for over an hour before calling Anna. She then drove us to Gamboa and it turnes out the bus drive only one time per 2 hours. We got there around 11 and we had to do the most sticky job I ever did in my life, yet. We had to peel off the old Victor fly catcher off the legs of the open closets where the crickets are held in. Then put new ones on there and we had to like 50 of them. It took nearly 30 minutes of hand cleaning to get the sticky stuff off of our hands. The break had arrived and this time we came prepared with full batteries in our phones and the courage to ask for the wifi code. So our brake of 1 hour was way better this time around. When the break was over we did the same stuff as the day before, cleaning the tanks and feeding the toadpads. Then I had to give the ill frogs food which in this case was small crickets. Robin had to make food for the toadpads which he had to mix himself. It was a mix of fish food and water and then he had to apply it to small see-through squares. Who then dry for a day and then get put into their tanks so they can eat it from the squares. We took the bus back and everything went smooth. We went to Annas dutch friend Joost and we stayed there till 8PM. Robin and I were pooling while Anna and Joost were talking about their weeks, while drinking tonic because it was their weekly habit. Then Nickolas came to us and he offered us to use his Xbox for our stay, so now we got a Xbox in our room. Nickolas is the 18 year old son of Joost, which has the same interest as us, gaming and playing sports. The only downside is that he and his twinbrother Evert are both in their exam years of highschool so they have to learn all day, so there is nearly no time to just chill with them. When we got home we ate simple chickenburgers and played on the Xbox till we went sleeping. Today was a productive good day, the only downside was that we missed our bus so we wasted like 2 hours of the day.
