The fun saturday

Today we were free of work and Nick and Evert, the english/dutch twins, invited us to go paintballing with their friends. So around 10 AM they stood infront of our doorstep and because we thought we were going to have dirty suits to play in we came in our normal summer clothes, short pants and normal t-shirt. But this was not the case, we went playing with just a helmet and a paintballgun. We got some bullets and a playing field in the jungle were we started playing in teams of 4. We had a great time and when you were out of bullets you left the field. After the first game we decided to pay extra to go another round. This time around we were a little better and hit the opponents better. I also got hit on my hand and even though we had no armor it did not really hurt. When the game was over everybody was sweating and it was time to get lunch. We drove towards a very new plaza just outside Panama City and Robin and I ordered a pizza each, while everybody else bought fries and hotdogs. Just when everybody was finished our pizza´s arrived... So we just ate them in the car back to the house. We arrived around 2 PM at the house and 4 PM we left to a kingsday party at a very luxe hotel. We paid 15$ pp to get in and it was a bbq and drinks. After some minutes we met a guy our age named Brantley, he knew how to speak dutch but just to train our english we talked english to him. It feels like every Panamenian we meet we learn something new about Panama and he thought us that when a girl turns 15 she throws a huge party to celebrate it costing up to 5000$. For that party she invites everyone she knows and also people she does not know are welcome. He compared it to an Americans sweet sixteen. We talked like the whole evening to him and his family and we also met some girls from spain our age. Afterwards I think it was a great idea from Anna to go to such a Dutch party, so we could meet some other people with Dutch roots in Panama. We went back home around 8 when the fireworkshow was finished. I think this was the first day were we really had a great time and did multiple things.
