Today was the plan of taking the famous red doublelevelled sightseeing busses that drive through every capital of the world. So that is what we did today. We took off by paying 29$ per person at the miraflores ports. These are the ports of the Panama Canal but we are going the explore these on an other day. We arrived at our first stop around 10 AM at the Bio Museo but we did not enter because the building is ugly as hell. Then we walked down the causeway to 3 islands. From these islands you could have a nice dinner or enjoy the beautifull view you have on Panama City and the Pacific Ocean. We enjoyed the latter ones. From the third island we took the bus to Casa Antigua which is the old colony part of the city. Here you have old churches from the french and spanish but also the presidents resident. Then we took the bus to multicentro the modern centrum of Panama City, here we had lunch at the macdonalds. The first busses we took were the canal tour, now we entered another bus to get the city tour. This time we chose to sit the whole tour out while the tour guide told us all about the new centrum of Panama. It was 3 PM when this tour ended and we entered the canal tour once again. We left the bus to enter the albrook mall. This mall is the biggest in whole Latin-America and gives jobs to over 10.000 people. We walked through the whole building, from one end to the other. While we walked through the mall we entered some hardware and gaming stores. One shop we entered that really stood out was the gun shop. I had never seen one in my life, so it was a pretty cool experience to see all those guns on the wall, just purchasable for the random store visiter. We took the last bus back to our begin around 5 PM and Anna took us home from there. Afterwards we really enjoyed our city sightseeing day, but a tip for next time was to bring sunprotection with us because our arms and neck got burned pretty badly.
